ブラジルフェスティバル2015出演アーティストAlawodudu（アラウォ・ドゥドゥ）

代々木公園で7月18日（土）、19日（日）に開催される第10回ブラジルフェスティバル（主催：在日ブラジル商業会議所）のメインステージでは、2日間に渡り国内外のアーティストたちがブラジル音楽やダンス、武術などを披露する。

メインステージの一番手（7月18日（土）12時40分～）の出演は、ブラジル北東部バイーア州サルバドールのブロコアフロが生み出したといわれる「サンバへギ」を演奏するグループ、Alawodudu（アラウォ・ドゥドゥ）。

サルバドールの「サンバへギ」を演奏するアフロブラジレイロ・パーカッションバンド。

メンバーの半数以上が元世界一周バックパッカー＆サルバドールのカーニバル経験者。サルバドールのカーニバルを雰囲気ごと再現できる日本唯一のバンド。

バンド名の意味はサルバドールの人たちのルーツである西アフリカのヨルバ族の言葉で「肌の黒い人」。
「一生忘れない強烈なインパクト」＋「宇宙に溶け込む一体感」＋「自分はナニモノだったか？ を思い出すくらいの深いビート」の３つがコンセプト。

É uma banda de percussão afro-brasileira que toca samba-reggae, nascida em Salvador, no Brasil. O nome da banda Alawodudu significa negros na língua dos povos iorubás, da África Ocidental, origem dos povos da Bahia. A banda atua sob três conceitos: “Impacto forte nunca ser esquecido”, “Integração e harmonia com o universo” e “Ritmo profundo que lembra o que eu era”.

It is an African-Brazilian percussion band that plays samba-reggae, created in Salvador, in Brazil.The band’s name Alawodudu means “black people” in the West Africa Yoruba’s language, the origin of Bahian people. The band operates under three concepts: “Strong impact is never forgotten”, “Integration and harmony with the universe” and “Deep rhythm reminds what I was”.
